Website Redesign

Website Redesign

Overview

LuskinOIC is a leading nonprofit organization in Los Angeles dedicated to providing pediatric orthopedic care to all children, regardless of their financial situation. In recent years, LuskinOIC refreshed their branding and updated their website. However, over time, they found that the site was confusing and not very user-friendly. To better serve their audience, they sought a website redesign that would enhance clarity, improve usability, and reflect a modern, visually appealing design.

Challenge

The project faced several obstacles:

  • A tight three-week timeline for the initial redesign
  • An overwhelming number of pages on the original site
  • Accessibility issues with the brand's color palette
  • Poor quality images
  • The need for a better content management system

Process

1. Identified three key user groups: patient parents, donors, and event sponsors

2. Worked with another designer to reorganize key information from the existing site

3. Simplified the design by removing unnecessary pages and highlighting essential content

4. After the initial launch, switched from Contentful CMS to Webflow for better control

5. Created designs in Figma and implemented them directly into Webflow

Results

Delivered a streamlined, user-friendly website that:

  • Makes important information easier to find
  • Improves accessibility for all users

  • Gives the client an easier way to manage their content
