Overview

I designed a digital platform for the RAND Center to Advance Racial Equity Policy, an organization that develops solutions to build racial equity in systems and policies.

Challenge

The project needed to balance brand consistency while being hosted on the SPEC website, requiring careful color and design choices that would work with SPEC's existing design system.

Process

1. Started with color choices matching the client's original branding (charcoal and purple)
2. Adjusted to use SPEC's color palette when learning the page would be hosted on their site
3. Worked through four major design iterations, improving the layout and content organization

4. Made sure the design worked well across all devices, especially mobile phones

Results

Delivered a cohesive design that respected both organizations' identities while creating a clear, accessible platform for sharing racial equity research and policy solutions.
